He stepped out, crossed the short distance to the public gallery doors and held out his hand. His wife locked her fingers into his, and together they headed for the main doors of the court and disappeared into the public foyer...

This manuscript — for his grandson — is the record he never had as a boy:what really happened,who really did what,and how, against the odds, he walked out of Kingdom Crown Court a free man,determined that no-one else would get to write the last word on Ryan Tanner.
